Prof. Sun Zhaoyun was born in 1962. She got her automatic control bachelor degree from Northeast University at 1985. Her Master degree of Computer application was won in Xi’an Highway University at 1991. She got her doctor degree of road and railway engineering from Chang’an University. Prof. Sun is the vice president of information engineering school in Chang’an University and Chief of electrical information engineering institution. She’s a leader of signal and information processing and an expert who enjoys a special subsidy from the state council.

Teaching and students training: Prof. Sun has been main lecturer of more than 10 courses for undergraduate and graduate students. She also tutored their graduate designing. There are 14 education research programs of national, provincial and university are hosted by her. Two of these courses were honored as“National bilingual teaching demonstration course”and“Shaanxi provincial elite course”. She got“Shannxi educational achievement”prize 4 times (rank 2), “Chang’an university education achievement”prize rank 1 twice and rank 2 once. She’s the leader of“Construction of special major in electrical information in Shaanxi Province”and“Excellent teaching team of Traffic measurement and control technology in Shanxi Province”. There has been 3 teaching materials and books published by her name. One of them got the“excellent teaching materal”prize in Chang’an University.

Prof Sun was honored as“Famous teacher of Shaanxi Province”,“Teacher model of Chang’an University”,“Excellent teacher in Chang’an university”,“Famous teacher in Chang’an University”,“Excellent manager in Chang’an University”,“Excellent party member in Chang’an Uniersity”.

Research: Prof. Sun has been leader and finished more than 20 programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Communication science and technology in western China national construction projects, Ministry of Education talents to support projects in the new century, Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of funded research projects, Key scientific and technological research projects of Traffic Ministry.She won second-level of National scientific and technological progress second prize twice, first-level of Shaanxi Science and Technology Progress Award twice and third-level once.There’re more than 50 intellectual properties of National invention patent, utility model patents and national computer software copyright, more than 130 scholar papers after her name. These papers won several prizes like“Highway Society Annual Symposium in Shaanxi Province First Prize of Excellent papers”,“Second Prize of Excellent papers of natural science in Shaanxi Province”.

Prof. Sun is given a special subsidy expert title from the State Council. She was granted as“excellent science and technology workers”,“Excellent Graduation designing tutors”in Chang’an University. Nine of her undergraduate and graduate students won“Third Prize of Science and Technology Progress in Shaanxi Province”,“good student reward”, and“Excellent graduation designing”in Chang’an University.

Construction in discipline and major, young teachers training: As the manager of education work in school, Prof. Sun emphasizes construction of discipline and major, and also the teaching reform and innovation. She promoted personnel training to improve the innovation, focused on talents introduction and training. There has been a teaching team with high professional level, reasonable structure and creativity. Prof. Sun also emphasizes management regulations and rules. She’s enthusiastic in international academic exchanges. Conferences were sponsored to invite well-known experts and scholars lecture for undergraduate and graduate students, also for young teachers.
