Overall Situation of the Teaching Team

 

      "Senior Computing Machine Programming Technology" course is one of the main professional courses for electronic information engineering specialty and measurement and control specialty. Professor Sun Zhaoyun of Chang’an University laid a good teaching system for this course. After many years of effort, she has successfully set up a teaching team which has a high level academic and professional title, a reasonable allocation of staff, good teaching effect, the overall advantages outstanding. The responsible person of this course , which has engaged in teaching and research in computer programming curriculum over 20 years, has accumulated rich experience in teaching and research , achieved fruitful results and applied the latest scientific research results to teaching. The members of this course group are engaged in related teaching and research for many years and have rich experience in teaching and scientific research. They constitute the "Advanced Machine Programming computing technology" and are the backbone of the teaching team.

 

      This course faculty configuration is composed according to the theory and practice of integrated system solutions for configuration. The faculty configuration mode: "Course responsible host" + "speaker teachers" + "curriculum design, training instructor" + "Tutors" + "technological innovation training instructor" + "doctoral teaching assistants."

 

      At present, the teaching team, which consists of five professors, four associate professors and one lecturer, has a good title structure, among them there are 3 doctoral tutors and 8 master tutors. All the aged teachers have the experience in teaching the theory, practice and experiment teaching. Each teacher of the teaching team has a clear division of job responsibility and also collaboration. There are about 150 students enrolled each year. Student-faculty ratio is 1:30 which is a reasonable ratio.

 

      The teaching team insisted on both teaching and research. In the past five years, the teaching team hosted a total of more than 30 research projects, including 8 national subjects and more than 10 provincial level topics. More than 100 papers about teaching and academic were published, of which the core journals are more than 50 articles and more than 40 articles were indexed by SCI and EI. The teaching team won a number of teaching and research awards of provincial and ministerial level. Teachers’ fruitful teaching and scientific research laid a solid foundation for the improvement of the overall teaching level.

Knowledge structure: Profession interests covered software engineering, computer application, signal processing, automation and other professional disciplines. It can meet the demands of interdisciplinary and the knowledge structure is reasonable.

 

Age structure: There are 10 teachers aged from 28 to 67, including four young teachers, four middle-aged teachers, and two aged experts. It formed a reasonable age structure teaching echelon.

 

Academic structure: 10 teachers obtained qualifications from ten different schools. The academic structure is ideal.

 

Title structure: There are 5 teachers who have many years of teaching experience, 4 associate professors and 1 lecturer. Judging from the quality of teaching, all lectures teachers teaching quality evaluation are all fine in recent years. The overall teaching quality and teaching level is relatively high.
