The course is rated as national excellent bilingual course. Its supporting discipline “Traffic information engineering and control” is the state key construction discipline. The course is based on Delphi development environment. The teaching team achieved such a degree which is the deepest in home and abroad among similar courses. 
    The teaching team structure is appropriate. Their professional capacity is strong with comprehensive quality, which makes the good teaching effect. Team leader Prof. Sun Zhaoyun is the leader of electrical information discipline. She’s also the head of provincial and national excellent courses, renowned teacher of Shaanxi province.
    The teaching system and content organization are scientific. The teaching condition is qualified and teaching methods are progressive. The reform and construction of this course is remarkable. Course materials, CAI courseware and key course constructions in university are completed. In 2009 and 2010, the course obtained university teaching prize twice (rank one and rank two, respectively).
    The course relies on engineering training center and computer center, which has well-equiped laboratory and training places. Students learn to establish modern engineering conception, analyze and solve practical problems through lecture teaching, experiments, extra science activities, practices and curriculum design.
    Prof. Zhang Yanning from Northwestern Polytechnical University evaluated the course as a model and it is at the forefront in similar institutions of China . She said the course made a great achievement in content integration and optimization, practical and lecture teaching, multimedia courseware and online course constructions.
