"Advanced Computer Programming Technology" course is one of the main professional courses for electronic information engineering specialty and measurement and control specialty. Professor Sun Zhaoyun of Chang’an University laid a good teaching system for this course. After many years of effort, she has successfully set up a high level academic and professional teaching team, a reasonable teachers allocation, good teaching effect. As a Professor in charge of this course, she has engaged in teaching and research over 20 years in computer programming curriculum, accumulated rich teaching experience, got fruitful achievements and applied the latest scientific research results to teaching. The members of this course team are engaged in related teaching and research for many years and have rich experience in teaching and scientific research. At present, some of them have became the backbone of "Advanced Computer Programming Technology" teaching team. The faculty is composed according to the theory and practice course requirement. The faculty allocation mode is as follow: "Course responsible teacher" + "speaker teachers" + "curriculum design, training instructor" + "Tutors" + "technological innovation training instructor" + "doctoral teaching assistants." At present, the teaching team, which consists of five professors, four associate professors and one lecturer, has a good structure, among them there are 3 doctoral tutors and 7 master tutors. All the aged teachers have the rich experience in the theory, practice and experiment teaching. Each teacher of the teaching team has a clear division of job and collaboration. There are about 150 students enrolled each year. Student-faculty ratio is 1:30 which is a reasonable ratio. The teaching team insisted on both teaching and research. In the past five years, the teaching team hosted more than 30 research projects, including 8 national subjects and more than 10 provincial level topics. More than 100 papers about teaching and academic were published, of which the core journals are more than 50 articles and more than 40 articles were indexed by SCI and EI. The teaching team won a number of teaching and research awards of provincial and ministerial level. Teachers’ fruitful teaching and scientific research laid a solid foundation for the teaching level improvement. Educational structure, knowledge structure, age structure, academic structure, and title structure of the teaching team are as follows: Educational structure: 8 people have doctorate degree; 2 people have master's degree.
Knowledge structure: Professional fields covered software engineering, computer application, signal processing, automation and other professional disciplines. It can meet the demands of interdisciplinary. Meanwhile, it has reasonable knowledge structure.
Age structure: There are 10 teachers aged from 28 to 67, including four young teachers, four middle-aged teachers, and two aged experts. It formed a reasonable age structure.
Academic structure: 10 teachers obtained qualifications from ten different schools. The academic structure is better.
Title structure: There are 5 teachers who have many years of teaching experience, 4 associate professors and 1 lecturer. Judging from the quality of teaching, teacher's teaching quality got good evaluation in recent years. The overall teaching quality and teaching level are relatively high.
